Anxiety Disorders

As a CBT therapist for anxiety, I help my clients understand how thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors interact.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I provide structured, evidence-based treatment for OCD. OCD can include intrusive thoughts, mental compulsions, checking, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance that significantly interfere with daily life. I utilize the gold standard approach, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to treat OCD.

Treatment focuses on:

  • Understanding the OCD cycle
  • Reducing compulsive behaviors
  • Changing your relationship to intrusive thoughts
  • Building confidence and psychological flexibility

OCD is highly treatable with the right approach.


Phobias

Specific phobias — whether related to health, vomiting, medical procedures, or other fears — can become increasingly limiting over time. I provide evidence-based therapy for phobias, such as exposure therapy, that gradually increases habituation and tolerance to uncomfortable and fear-inducing situations.
