The postpartum period can be emotionally intense. I provide therapy for postpartum anxiety and depression, helping women navigate feelings of worry, guilt, sadness, and/or disconnection.
Treatment includes:
- CBT-based interventions to manage anxious or negative thought patterns
- Mindfulness and relaxation strategies
- Support for regaining emotional balance and confidence in your parenting
- Validation for the normal emotions women experience during the pregnant and postpartum stages
- Challenging of myths that keep women stuck in a cycle of “bad mom” thoughts that lead to guilt
