Sleep Treatment
- Dr. Ogborn specializes in treating sleep concerns, primarily chronic insomnia, through a behavioral approach called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). This is a brief, evidence-based intervention in which Dr. Ogborn teaches clients how to use good sleep habits and avoid behaviors that keep them from achieving quality sleep. As of May 2016, The American College of Physicians recommends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia as the initial, first-line treatment for adults with chronic insomnia.
